According to the Farmer's Almanac, that purveyor of all essential knowledge, many Native American tribes refer to February's full moon as the Super Snow Moon.  That – not surprisingly – is due to the heavy snowfall that often occurs this time of year.  The almanac, our Native American brothers, and Mother Nature sure got it right this year – even in the nation's southwest, where record low temps and significant snowfall are visiting the "high country" of Arizona.  A closer look in our Lunar Lobby.
